Molecular diagnostics
Molecular diagnostics, including Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing, are highly sensitive methods used to detect genetic material from pathogens such as viruses and bacteria. PCR amplifies specific DNA or RNA sequences, allowing for rapid and accurate identification—even at very low levels of infection. With simple sample collection and the broad range of Infectious Disease Panels (e.g., respiratory, GI, UTI, STI). Clinical diagnosis and treatment become more targeted and help to reduce the amount of time the patient is infected and allow for more targeted treatment.
